I grew up in Greensboro, NC and attended Southeast Guilford high school, where I played varsity baseball for 4 years. After high school I attended the University of Florida to play baseball, where I was a 4-year starter at 3 rd base, winning one SEC championship and making 2 trips to the college World Series in 2012/2015, while also being a consensus All-American in 2015. I was drafted in 2015 by the Philadelphia Phillies, playing 2 seasons reaching High-A. I was traded to the Boston Red Sox in 2016, with that organization I reached Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox. I retired from playing in 2020 and started my current career as a Professional Scout for the Red Sox. As a scout I cover levels ranging from MLB to rookie ball across the nation and year. I take pride in the knowledge and experience I’ve gained from scouting and playing both physically and mentally.
I have played the game at various levels, so I have the skills and know what good hitting,
fielding and being a great player looks like from the practical level. I love to use this
knowledge to teach the next generation of players and I am excited to teach physical
fundamentals and mechanics of hitting and defense.
