Hi, I’m Lexi and I am so excited to join the staff here at Diamond & Aces where I can share my love for growing the game! I attend the University of Connecticut where I am pursuing a Sport Management Degree. I am a lefty slapper/ hitter and play all outfield positions. During my freshman year, I was named Second Team All-Conference, and Freshman of the Week. I was also a Campus Captain for Hidden Opponent, an organization that works to end the stigma around mental health in college athletics. Here, I grew my passion for mental health and explored tools to help assist with the mindset aspect of our game.
In my current season, I earned six Big East Honor Roll titles, First Team All-Conference, and NFCA First Team All-Region. This past season I also placed top eight in the nation for most stolen bases for Division 1 softball as well as broke the record for my program's most single-season walks and stolen bases. I was involved with our Alumni Committee which fostered my love for growing the game through connection and gratitude.
During my collegiate career, I have volunteered at multiple softball clinics, as well as worked team and prospect camps for the Laura Valentino Softball School. A few things that I have carried with me during my career are “Remember Your Why” and “Failing Hard is a Controllable”. Let's take back the numbers game as a positive! I am so excited to share what this means to me and help you grow your game on the field as well as become a person who inspires others around you.
