Hi there! My name is Alyssa Stanley, but you can call me Buggie! Currently, I am finishing up my last few classes at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, and moved to Chapel Hill in the summer of 2019 to attend UNC. I played softball for 12 years which during that time I was a pitcher and first baseman. I committed to UNC going into my sophomore year of high school and went on to play 2 years of Division I collegiate softball for Carolina. Prior to my arrival at UNC I was named All-Region First Team, All-State First Team, and won a regional and state title. I began playing competitive travel ball when I was 11 years old, and have also aided and hosted camps and clinics for younger athletes. Over the years the sport of softball has presented me with so many opportunities and great friends. Although my time playing is over, I love the sport and look forward to helping young athletes better their game on and off the field.
