    Description:

    For middle school and high school players, this program provides infield instruction that will challenge the player to go to the next level. Each class will implement infield techniques that cover glove and foot work, scenario play & the basic mechanics of field at each base. Players will get experience at each base while focusing on their specific positions.

    Description:

    For middle school and high school players, this program provides outfield work that includes fielding techniques, glove work and receiving various hits. Each player will work on scenario plays, getting the ball into the infield quickly and cut offs. These athletes will learn tips and techniques to dominate the outfield.

    Fundamentals of Catching

    Description:

    For baseball and softball players

     

    Catchers will get familiar with the catchers stance, basics fundamentals, glove work/ receiving, throw-downs, and blocking.

    Ace's Player Development - Level 1 (Baseball)

    Ages: 6-8 years old

    Description:

    A great opportunity to have your 6, 7 or 8-year-old get started on the correct baseball path. Our coaches will teach your child the proper fundamentals in this 6 week class. Players will have an opportunity to participate in drills, increase baseball IQ, and build confidence for their upcoming seasons.

     

    OUR COACHING STAFF WILL INTRODUCE BASIC FUNDAMENTALS SUCH AS

    • Throwing (Mechanics, Grip, Footwork)
    • Fielding Ground Balls (Fielding Triangle, Footwork, Approach, Flips)
    • Catching Fly Balls (Drop Steps, Technique, Crow-hops)
    • Base-running (Through 1st base, Base Hits, Rounding the bases)
    • Sliding
    • Hitting (Mechanics, Balance, Load, Finish, Swing Path)

    Ace's Player Development - Level 2 (Baseball)

    Description:

    Our 6-week program is designed for the 9 and 10-year old players. These sessions continue the development of proper skill sets in throwing, catching, hitting, fielding, base-running, and baseball/softball IQ, by utilizing drills, reps, simulated game-play and scenarios.

     

    OUR COACHING STAFF WILL WORK ON:

    Ace's Player Development - Level 3 (Baseball)

    Suggested Ages: 10-12 years old

     

    Description:

    Our 6-week program is designed for the baseball player making the transition from the Little League field to the Big Field. Just as all of our classes offer basic fundamentals, we will continue to work on both fundamentals on the offensive and defensive side of the game. At this level, it is important that the flaws in the player’s game are recognized and a plan is set in place to fix them. These sessions will provide the player with advanced drills and training methods. It is not an easy transition moving to the bigger field. This class is designed to make this tough transition as seamless as possible for our athletes.

     

    OUR COACHING STAFF WILL WORK ON:

     

    Basic Throwing Program completed at the start of each class

    • Crow-hops, Shuffling
    • Introduction to Quick-Hands
    • Fielding Progressions

    Hitting

    • Situational Hitting
    • Balance, Load, Swing Path, Generating Power
    • Bunting (Sac vs. Bunt for a hit)

    Baserunning

  • REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY:
    Program Refund & Cancellation Policy: No refunds available, credit can be applied to your account for use for future class/clinic/camp within a year if requested 7 days prior to start of class/clinic/camp.
     
    If classes or programs are cancelled due to low enrollment by Diamond & Aces, participants will be given a refund.
