Hunter was born in Charleston, West Virginia. After a brief stop in New York, his family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina when he was 6. It was there that he developed a love and passion for baseball. When he was 9, he started playing travel ball religiously with the Wilmington Braves. For high school, he attended Hoggard in Wilmington where he was a captain and an all-conference selection his senior year as an infielder. Then he went on to attend NC State and graduated with a degree in business and a Master’s in sports management. After spending a few years in Nashville, Tennessee working for several different sports organizations he decided it was time to return home. He has always wanted to get into coaching and looks forward to working with the players and helping them improve their game.

Bryce Stanton brings collegiate playing experience and a strong baseball background to the coaching staff as an Assistant Coach. A catcher at Rockford University, Bryce is known for his leadership, work ethic, and understanding of the game. He previously played at William Peace University before transferring to Rockford, where he continued developing as both a player and student-athlete. Bryce is passionate about helping athletes improve their skills, build confidence, and grow their knowledge of the game on and off the field.
