My name is Owen Oliver, and I was born and raised in North Carolina. I began playing baseball when I was three years old and continued through my rising junior year at Fuquay-Varina High School. My playing career was unexpectedly cut short following a serious leg injury, but that experience only deepened my appreciation for the game and taught me the importance of perseverance, discipline, and mental toughness.

Prior to my injury, I received interest from colleges ranging from Division I to Division III, including Pfeiffer, UNC Pembroke, and WVU. I also played for the SBA Canes in showcase tournaments, primarily at center field and second base. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Exercise Science.

Baseball has taught me many valuable lessons, but the greatest one has been perseverance. I believe that with the right work ethic, mental fortitude, and dedication, players can succeed both on and off the field. Those are the key character traits I bring into every lesson as I help players grow and elevate their own baseball journey.
